A common complaint about this monitor is that black isn't black. I found that true and it shows. Looks grey. I'm not a fan of it, otherwise the color is ok. Solid build quality. The silver frame and 1440p resolution were a big plus for me. Most monitors have an ugly black border that doesn't match my desktop design. That's pretty expensive for a low refresh rate monitor in my opinion, and that's also considering the poor contrast ratio.

Bought this as a gift for my wife who is a distance teacher. Use with a school-supplied MacBook. No problems and the picture is very good (check the maximum resolution when buying a monitor). Having a large monitor for your office is extremely useful. I love the 27" size and am jealous. This is a reliable monitor. The stand is stable and can easily be tilted forwards or backwards. Picture quality is excellent and considering its QHD it is a good value monitor. Colors are clear and the backlight is easy on the eye. I couldn't be happier. This is the best monitor in this price range. I tried it side by side with another lower resolution monitor and I could really tell the difference. Costs a little more money to go with a higher resolution.

I have bought two monitors and have been very happy with them up to 9 months of use. Then the display port failed on one of the monitors. HP replaced the monitor without much hassle. I was happy again, but now, two weeks later, the display port on the other monitor has failed. HP will replace this monitor with no problem, but I'm concerned that the warranty will expire next month and I'll be stuck if it happens again. I was also very happy with these monitors.

This is a very good monitor but look elsewhere if you want to use a VESA mount. Although a bracket is included, it attaches to the bottom of the monitor and does not conveniently fit on a stand or monitor arm. The monitor looks very stylish and modern and offers a good screen for the price. So if the included stand works for you, you'll love it.

I decided based on the price, the Quad HD resolution and the 75 -Hz refresh rate for this one.
