Lie! I tell you lies nothing but lies!

After trying for some time to set up this printer with a very "easy setup" I gave up and came to write this review! My laptop wouldn't let me set it up because I needed a cable that didn't come and my phone wouldn't work because it just kept booting up! What you should know before you buy

I don't like the idea of HP wanting to know what I'm printing or scanning. I purposely plugged this in with a cable so I didn't have to tell HP what I was printing, but they still caught me before I could scan anything. I had to log into my HP account before the damn device would let me scan. What happened to privacy? I called HP and told them what comes with the printer and they told me the ink is the same as I would buy from a store with full cartridges but when it got here it had different…

You have to be patient, but it's worth it.

Setting up this printer is not for those without a lot of patience. It will take some time to learn how to prepare this hp deskjet 4155e for internet, wireless printing and USB to a computer. I didn't have a USB cable. Luckily I have an HP laser printer and I used the cable from that. I like the print quality. Please just print it out!

My HP Deskjet 1112 suddenly stopped working as soon as I installed a new ink cartridge. Since this one is no longer in stock, I decided on this one. When it arrived I decided to read the setup reviews and they are right, it's NOT EASY! I ended up calling HP support and the tech set it up for me remotely and it took over an hour to finally get it working. It was on Saturday. Bought for home use. Great printer.

I like this printer so far. I use for home use. I've read reviews on the setup and it's not too bad if you can figure it out. Setup is via the app only, so you can't use a USB cable. So be prepared that it will be ok. After turning on the printer, do the following. TIP: First download the app on your phone, then create an account and make sure your Wi-Fi is on (it will ask you), then ignore the automatic printer search. Application that will add it as soon as possible! Learned the hard way lol.
