I bought this monitor as an add on to an HP W1907 that I already have. It has worked really well so far and supports my 3 monitor setup which is working for me now. I hope it lasts as long as the other monitor I've had for over 6 years that hasn't failed yet. This is a quality monitor.

I have had this monitor for almost 7 years now, it has never given me any problems, I play and draw on this monitor and I love it. Of all the things I hooked up to my computer, this took the longest. It's been a fantastic investment and I'm afraid to trade it for something less permanent.

I got this monitor second hand with about 16,000 hours on it. It has now accumulated over 22,000 hours. This monitor shows its age. It gets darker over the years. I increased the brightness to compensate. I'm having trouble finding a monitor with such deep blacks and vivid colors. Until then, this thing will be my daily driver until it dies.

I would have expected better quality from a monitor. The monitor still works fine but it was very dirty. There were fingerprints all over the screen, the power button didn't feel right, and there were other unknown materials covering cracks and other spots that I needed to clean. The price says perfect condition but in reality it's not. But overall it still works.

As soon as I connected the W1907 I saw that all my photos were distorted no matter what resolution I chose. After much fiddling, I believe the problem was with the integrated VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP graphics card, which I had for some reason. I've never seen that there could be a graphics card incompatibility. So I installed the Radeon 9700 Pro graphics adapter, updated all of its drivers, and also updated the HP w1907 19-inch LCD monitor drivers from HP's website. I restarted my HP A620n…

It works, but just yesterday I noticed that not all menu buttons work. Be careful with "repaired" items. Unattractive design!

still very happy with this purchase after five years; It does what it's supposed to do and the picture is sharp and clear. The ONLY issue I had was the design of the power plug, it kept falling out. Revain replaced her immediately and there have been no problems ever since.

Excellent value for money. Bad built-in speakers. Tried setting up VGA on Windows XP and found the text very difficult to read. I changed the resolution from the default to 1360 x 768 to give my eyes a rest. Otherwise no complaints John

This was my first exposure to the world of LCD flat screens and I was not disappointed! The picture is crystal clear. The colors are bright and vibrant. Even when the thing is off, it's nice to look at! I am currently using this monitor as the main monitor for my new Macbook and so far I couldn't be happier. You'll need to use the correct resolution (which for me is 1440x900) and maybe fiddle around with the brightness/contrast settings a bit, but the factory defaults aren't bad at all…

I upgraded from a 15" display and really liked the 19" widescreen. My old monitor also had built in speakers and I wanted a larger monitor with speakers and was surprised at how limited the choice was, especially in stores. The box included both VGA and DVI cables, which was a plus since my new computer only accepted DVI inputs. I found the display to be very bright when delivered and had to adjust it a bit. This is a decent monitor. It's also great if you want to watch the video on your computer. HP makes good, reliable products that really last. I recommend them to most others out there.

At first I had small problems with setting the screen size. I use a docking station for my Dell laptop and bought it as an external monitor. The trick is to turn on the computer and then connect an external monitor. It's a little tiring every day, but it will definitely save you from some frustrations throughout the day. Resizing the screen to full screen size is also easy. Right-click on the monitor, click "Personalize". Then click Display Settings and drag the resolution bar from low to high.

1440 x 900 is great for gaming and is a monitor that is very cheap for the most part. It's a good HD display, maybe not as big as these days, but it lasted about 7-8 years with no problems. I highly recommend rainbow settings you can check out and they look nice with windows 7 and aren't very big
