Really good compound that stops my bike instantly but is uncomfortable for the road bike I have and too strong for balance bikes. These pads are better suited to V-brakes and bikes that use them. The pads were too big to fit on the front calipers so I have an extra set. It's okay, but now I have to buy another set of pads.

These pads are very good and offer good braking power. Unfortunately I couldn't use them on my rear wheel as they are about 30-40% thicker than my original Avid pads and as my rear wheel is not 100% round this caused a problem with the pads rubbing against the rim. I was able to use them on the front wheel and had to order the originals on the rear wheel. I still love them and want my rear wheel to be in better shape.

I've only changed the brakes on my bike twice and chose them this time. I've been using them for a few months now and they're really good. Excellent stopping power and wear was not too fast. They even stop me on hills which my last pair of rubber brakes couldn't do 😬 Definitely recommend them. Depending on your bike, you may need your old hardware. So keep them until you install them properly. My old brakes had smaller plugs between the mounting points and the plugs that came with these brakes

They are of good quality and work well. Just note that they are quite thick so make sure you have some slack in the brake cables and room for adjustment on the actuators.
