This tool is great best in my review

The tool is great -- the learning curve on cutting glass is pretty steep. I didn't try to use this tool with tile; I only used it to cut mirrors. It's best for medium or small mirrors and definitely better for square mirrors and straight cuts. Advice -- if you're cutting a curve, don't use the built-in 'V' part of the tool -- separate the cut slowly by hand. The tool works well overall and it's a TON cheaper than the others on the market.

Pros
  • It works!
Cons
  • No sirve para nada

Good for small tile

Good tool for small wall tile. If you are doing floor tile you will require a wet saw or an oscillating saw with a diamond blade or a small 4.5 inch circular saw with a tile blade.

Pros
  • Works perfect for what I need. I only do smaller areas just want I needed.
Cons
  • Plastic holder not for left handers tile cracks when cutting, no good cuts.

Great Buy for Small Projects

I was nervous about buying this due to the low amount of reviews and how wildly they varied.I have minimal tile work experience and didn’t feel like renting a wet saw for the small backsplash I was doing. The tool takes some practice, and definitely make sure you have extra tiles. It was very proficient at splitting 3x6 tiles in about half, but wasn’t good for clean trims on tiny spaces. Had to adjust the design to accommodate. Also, consider your grout color. If you’re doing high contrast, this

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • The ceramic tile cutter may not be as precise as other cutting tools in the market, meaning that some cuts may not be as clean or straight as desired

Didn't work for me

I tried using it to cut bathroom wall tile. It worked initially but then the round wheel that scores the tile did not seem to work well. I also was not able to use it for cutting off one inch or less of tile.

Pros
  • Affordable. Easy to use. Perfect for small jobs.
Cons
  • The cutter may not be suitable for larger tiles as it may not have enough leverage to cut through them accurately or quickly

Failed every time. best in my review

Tried using this on 12x3 subway tiles and it broke them every time. If there’s a learning curve I don’t want to break all my tiles learning it, sending it back.

Pros
  • Worked fine. Hard to reach some areas.
Cons
  • Did not get 3 blades like was advertised on the product description.
