I recently bought a used 2000 Coachmen motorhome with Dometic Duo Therm air conditioning. The case was so old that it cracked wherever I pushed it. Worse, the heat dissipation fins on the back were completely unprotected by the old fairing and I had to spend several hours there with a putty knife to gently straighten about 2/3 of it. This case is more durable than the original case it replaces. The design differs slightly in that the original fiberglass cover has a cutout on the back for a metal grille that protects the air conditioner condenser coils. I bought this icon to replace Dometic dou-therm. Arrived quickly, but I disagree with the claim that it's thicker and better than the manufacturer's original equipment. It was the same thickness as the original, many of the mounting holes did not match and none were drilled for the rear. I could live with overdrilling the holes, but I noticed a big difference in the side vents. Although the products appear the same in the photos, each vent is half the width of the real thing. Purchased for our 1990 Duo Therm Briskair jacket is primarily molded plastic/soft flex. Feel surprised to see no China label but Canada which offers some comfort it fits snugly on the sides and front At the end the back of the shroud is curved as others here mention the shroud is a bit short in height was. This AC cover was purchased to replace the broken/damaged old cover that was on our partially restored '84 Fleetwood Prowler TT that used the 'old style'. Duotherm air conditioning. I'm very satisfied with this product. It was enough to press lightly on the new case to align the holes. I also replaced the old rusty steel screws with stainless steel ones and used small washers to hold the shroud better.
