ID Ceramic Perfect Festival Present Review

Tip broken after a few weeks and one completely fell apart after 2 months Update: 9 months, ALL with broken tips or chips. Shit!

They're not bad at all, but not as sharp as I expected. I understand that a white blade could potentially stain, but I am shocked that the banana stained the blade. Cuts steak great but I really can't say it beats previously owned stainless steel steak knives.

I ordered 2 sets of these. They broke in half or shattered. I have requested a replacement. The replacement also arrived broken and broken. I have to go back to UPS to ship AGAIN. Don't waste time; Energy; or money. I still haven't received a refund for these items.

These steak knives are wonderfully sharp and are comfortable to hold. I like the ease of use and the individual guards work well but they don't have a mechanical lock to hold them down. My wife and I think these knives are fantastic. We were skeptical as we never had ceramic knives. They are razor sharp. They cut fruits and vegetables as if we were cutting with a real razor blade. Ok they work but the instructions say not to use them on glass. We eat from glass plates, also steaks. I don't know how important that is, but we haven't broken a single one yet. I know this type of knife is quite fragile but if you follow the care instructions you can have good sharp knives for many years. These knives go with almost everything! They're definitely not just for steak! They've become my favorite knives for most things, but be careful when slicing pitted fruit and watch out for the steak. Ceramic knives are more sensitive in this regard and can break if they hit a hard hole. But trust me, they're sharper than any stainless steel knife I've ever owned and you'll love them! Some complain about stains, but my secret: a little Bartender's Friend detergent will make them perfectly white!
