At first they seemed to work in my Volvo V50. After about 6 months I got a "Check Engine" light and trouble codes that I couldn't clear. The car went into emergency mode at high speed. Finally out and swapped and now everything is fine. Don't waste your time and money on it!

Four out of five ignition coils worked. One was missing a spark plug terminal and had poor electrical connection to the vehicle. I couldn't return one without returning all five. I replaced the defective spool with an old spool and received a prorated refund from Revain (needed a spool, no refund). Just a major inconvenience that cannot be remedied by sending another spool as I would be happy to return the faulty spool.

Bought these to replace the coils on my daughter's 2008 Volvo S40 T5 due to code P0301 (cylinder 1 misfire). Replaced all spark plugs with NGK iridium plugs and all 5 ignition coils with them. As everyone else has mentioned you will need to take the rubber boots off the old coils and swap them out for the ones that run on them as they are too long.
