Gate Wheel - Attach to any gate that will be assisted by a caster to swing open and closed without sagging. Stand off Bracket permits caster to rotate 360 degrees. Perfect for outdoor use. Spring Suspension - Caster will roll over rough terrain, gravel, packed dirt, concrete or grass. Roller bearing is protected by a mushroom cap to keep rain and dirt to a minimum. Gate wheel with spring. Hard Rubber Wheel - Will withstand the elements and provide years of service. Mounting hardware is not included, so please choose the solution that best suits your application. Bolts, lag screws or any strong fitting will be appropriate. Heavy Duty - Metal shaft, bearings and spring. Vinyl wheels Add to any gate kit to provide effortless movement of any heavy gate. Prevent gate sag. Wood or Metal - Door Gates can be electric or wooden, chainlink or metal. Casters will roll in any direction the fencing gate is pushed.

Works amazingly well!

We have an old cedar gate that has seen the mark but there is no way to build a new one now. This wheel assembly made the rotating portion of this gate work so well that we may not need to replace the gate at all.

good, but the spring is not strong enough

Given the weight of the gate, the spring is too soft in my opinion. It barely lifts/supports the gate we installed it on and definitely doesn't exceed 130 pounds. The rest seems to be of normal quality. Should be cheaper for what it is.

Spring Too Weak - Plate Rollers

This type of compression spring and wheel is designed to support the weight applied to it without fully compressing the spring. This allows your gate to roll over uneven ground/surface and still float enough to support the gate without sagging enough to be dragged. Using a luggage scale (wrist strap with weights) I found this spring to be fully compressed at 27 pounds. Yes, this product "holds" a force of 130 pounds, but the spring is fully down and cannot "float". I replaced the original…
