Works fine in my bament, here is additional instruction

2020 Remarks: Unit has been in service since 2018 and still works well. Just need normal maintenance like a clean strainer and bucket (once a year); otherwise the device and its built-in pump (pushes water 6 feet vertically + 3 feet horizontally). 2018 comments: It draws water from the air in my basement and fills its bucket quickly, and it's quieter than my old unit. Cannot start the pump the first time until it is almost full.

Worked with manual drain for a week. Was emptied 2 times a day and a 3rd time almost half filled confirming the moisture issue in the 10x12 walk in closet that the builder noticed. So I connected a plastic hose to the pump. It went off when turned on. Turned off the pump and restarted the machine. Read the manual again, check the bucket and repeat again, same thing. Called the company and they said to wait until the water level through the see through window was almost 2/3 or higher. I waited…

It still does its job.

I needed a dehumidifier with a pump so I wouldn't have to empty the bucket regularly. I found that many of the low pump dryer ratings were due to a pump failure or poor pump connection. I've been trying one (another brand) for a while and suddenly the internal pump failed, luckily before the return window closed. The pumped version was the 4500ft^3 model and I've rarely seen it work, so I decided on a smaller setup (3000ft^3) and supplemented it with an external condensate pump (Little Giant…

Works great but information is misleading

I did a lot of research and decided I wanted a dehumidifier with a hose and pump. Reading the information I thought what I ordered had it. I didn't know there was another box downstairs that said 45,000 sq ft with a peristaltic pump. So I was disappointed because I could buy any dehumidifier with a hose connection. A MUCH better manual is needed! (updated review)

It works great but it literally comes with the worst instruction manual ever. There is virtually NO information on how to set it up. This problem really needs to be addressed. I bought this device because it got the best reviews from users. You'll need to buy a garden hose with a SMALL female ring on the end so it doesn't get in the way of placing the water container underneath if you plan to use it continuously. Works great so far - dehumidifier

I only gave this 4 stars because there wasn't much information in the instructions that came with it. I've asked a few questions here on Revain and would like to thank those who have replied, but I would like to clarify a few things I've learned from reading the online manual on this site. 1) The pump turns on when the bucket is almost full and only pumps out about 25% of the water.
