Great value for money, flexibility reminds me of ACO AND fittings are a bonus, nice to have a large stock of fittings and not have to run to the store every other day

I use hydro for my plants. I've used transparent tubes before, but light leaked through which could lead to algae growth. I've since switched to these black tubes. I love that it reaches over 300 feet

I bought this to weigh rocks in an industrial coolant tank. Already had 2 hoses that snapped and chipped within 1 hour of use. And yes, it uses the correct size barb, we don't force it onto oversized barbs.

Bought for my aquarium. This works very well if you push the hose all the way over the connector. Some force is required to push the hose all the way onto the fitting. I am very happy with this black hose. I use a black background in most of my aquariums, preferring it to a clear one which tends to show algae and other stains.

The tube had a strong chemical odor which could be felt on my hands after handling. Black matt, the color is not washed off. I was planning to use it for a hydroponic setup but the chemical smell put me off and I ended up buying another tube. She wasn't quite 100 feet, but not too far.

Warning. The hose keeps slipping off the pump and filter. Not sure what the problem is, I have (5) 40 gallon tanks and have to keep the filter and/or pump connected at all times. The hose keeps coming off and now that I've looked at the reviews several other customers have had this issue. Buy with that in mind. Otherwise, the black color is nice and the hose is very flexible.

While I like the way you get it, it doesn't look like it will become brittle quickly like some of the clean brands that do become brittle on the climate. . I am one and I think it has more to do with cheap plugs. Sometimes it slips off cheap short fittings on air pumps. I prefer to use ribbed metal connectors and on a couple of single tanks with short smooth nipples I just take some sandpaper and scrape them off a little and it all works great. I would be happy again

Very dissatisfied with this product. No matter how big the nipple is, when the end is put on, it tends to tear. Especially under air pressure. Since purchasing this product I have had to disconnect the Emory connection several times because it had split resulting in a leak in the air pump or jig. I don't know what the material is, but it's definitely not silicone because silicone doesn't split that easily, it's very brittle, or should I say it cracks easily and splits too easily. I will never…
