Easy learning but steering slips

The bolts allow slippage for the seat and steering that strip the metal/paint. Mostly cosmetic but the amount you need to tighten some of these bolts seems excessive to prevent slippage. It works great but the need to adjust or have the kids complain about the steering slipping down is troubling and can be dangerous. It isn't needed for too long though as your kid will pick up balancing very quickly and then you can go back to your normal bike training. These are amazing and I only wish we had…

Pros
  • I hoped for more colors of this product.
Cons
  • Arrived damaged.

Mixed Feelings: my feedback

I'm not sure exactly how to rate this bike. Assembly was fairly simple, but both wheels aren't fully straight (the foam itself is curved a little), and the handlebar has already had to be reset and tightened twice (to the point I'm worried something will break if I tighten it any further) because it's slipped to the side, so the quality isn't great.Having said that, the bike looks very nice, and my tall 3.5 year old son loves it. He's been riding it for less than a week, after having never been

Pros
  • My grandson can’t stay off this bike. His joy is contagious!
Cons
  • Difficult to steer and control

The best company to work with

The bike is perfect for my grandkid it’s light and adjustable with growing kids but this company is the best and most helpful

Pros
  • They are a fun and engaging way for children to get active and stay healthy
Cons
  • The price might make the bike impractical for some families on a budget

Paint fading and it clicks. Leave in garage

Seems pretty great especially for the price of 40 bucks, But it does not age well. The back wheel now clicks pretty bad even after hitting it with WD40.The sunlight is fading the bright fire engine red paint to more of a dull off-red color. One sticker was pretty crumpled up coming right out of the box.Need to get adjustments TIGHT or the seat will slide back down and handlebars will slip to the side. These warnings aside, it's pretty lightweight, little boy does like it a whole lot.The welds and…

Pros
  • They are an excellent tool for developing gross motor skills
Cons
  • No way to attach a water bottle holder or other accessories

Good for tall toddlers

This bike was a great size for our very tall three year old and she learned to ride it quickly . She still prefers her tricycle so I think having pedals may have been a better choice for us but it certainly does help her with the balance part. A solid bike overall

Pros
  • They help kids develop a sense of balance that will be useful in other activities
Cons
  • Not suitable for kids with balance or coordination issues

Bike came packaged well and was very easy to assemble. We bought this for our four year old after he had a bad accident on his normal bike with training wheels. After a few hesitant trys our son has gotten on this new balance bike and started to figure it out. Very happy with it so far. For reference our son is around 48" tall. And one last point, I originally scoffed at balance bikes and their need, but it's got my child excited about riding again after a bad fall, so I'm pleased.

Pros
  • They are a great way to introduce kids to the joy of cycling
Cons
  • Cannot be used for racing or competitive riding

Great little bike! best in my review

This bike is great! It's lightweight so my 2.5 yr old has no problem getting around on it. The seat is easily adjustable too. My 6 year used this for a few days to get confidence in balancing. After that she was riding her bike with no problem.

Pros
  • The simplicity of the design allows kids to focus on learning to balance rather than complicated controls
Cons
  • Poorly written manual with confusing instructions

Happy customer: my feedback

The bike is light and sturdy. However the 12 vs 14 inch version is merely the tire difference, I think. Because it looks much smaller than our 14 inch bike. Still highly recommended if your kid is not too big yet. < 45 inch.

Pros
  • Kids will gain confidence from learning to ride on their own
Cons
  • Tire pressure is difficult to maintain

Just buy it! best in my review

My son started to ride his bicycle on his own after practicing with this training bike only 3 days. I had tried and given up teaching him bike many times before he got this training bike. I regret not buying this one even earlier.

Pros
  • The bikes can be used year-round, in any weather
Cons
  • Seat is too uncomfortable for long rides or extended use

Nicely built bike for my opinion

Fits my three year old like a glove, he whips that thing around as if it’s light as air! Was super easy to assemble my husband had it put together in no time

Pros
  • Footrests provide a comfortable resting place for little feet
Cons
  • Tires are punctured easily and require frequent repairs

Good bike for now on my review.

The bike is sturdy and easy for my 3 year old to use. Adjusting the height of the seat and handlebars is easy as well. The wheels are plastic, so certainly not a long term bike, but it’s serving the purpose in getting him use to the bike feel.

Pros
  • Enjoy Cycling Fun: It features soft padded seat and handlebars with more comfort for an easy ride; wider footrest design lets kids save energy while on a bike ride to enjoy more wonderful time.
Cons
  • Excessive noise while being ridden

Light weight, easy assembly, great structure

The bike is pretty light and really easy to assemble, the quality is great it has the same features and same structure as a other expensive brands out there, I would say that the difference is just the name of the brand, because everything is the same. my son learned how to use a pedal bike within a week of starting him on this balance bike he is five years old and he much rather use the scooter and I thought it was time for him to get him on a pedal bike and this balance bike did wonders!

Pros
  • They help kids develop spatial awareness and depth perception
Cons
  • Chain falls off frequently

Maybe too soon. best in my review

I got this for my niece's second birthday. Although you might not use it herself for a little while, she did enjoy trying it out. I had her get on and put her feet up and wheeled her around holding on. I hope she'll try it out by herself and learn how to balance. I have two boys and they were really hard to teach how to ride a bike. I hope this will help in the transition to a real bike. The product was great and really easy to put together. I did it myself. We had to adjust the seat to a lower

Pros
  • They are a great way to prepare kids for future cycling activities, such as mountain biking or BMX
Cons
  • No included tools for assembly or maintenance

This gives my kids SUPER POWERS

This bike is magic! My kids told me it gives them super-speed and from what I can see it seems to give them super confidence! We have 3 toddlers and 3 different brand balance bikes, all of my kids fight over this one!

Pros
  • Easy Assembly & Service: Each bike comes partially installed with user's manual. It only takes 15 minutes for a novice to assemble the glider bike. JOYSTAR Balance Bike enjoys our worry-free 12-month warranty and friendly customer service.
Cons
  • Footrest is too high, making it hard to use

As it should be: my feedback

It was just the right size for my four-year-old girl. Easy to assemble. Sometimes it is difficult to keep the seat in place as it does wiggle a little. It has been a great aid to help her learn balance.

Pros
  • Lightweight
Cons
  • Wheels were shaped weird and were wobbly and the fork in the back was bent. Returned.

Easy to assemble - my new review

Bought this for my son to ride without training wheels. Great product, he just isn't interested in using it. No reflectors or lights for extra safety in low light situations!

Pros
  • They are a great way to get siblings to play together and bond
Cons
  • No reflectors or lights for extra safety in low light situations

Perfect for gaining confidence

This bike has been perfect for my three year old to gain confidence balancing and going fast. It’s lightweight so he can miniver it himself, and I love how if he gets tired it’s not troublesome to lug for him. The only thing I was bummed about is how the paint has already scratched off in some places. But I know that’s mainly because my little one is rough on things.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • Expensive for the poor quality

Wheels warped for my opinion

Unfortunately the wheels were warped on this bike. And we even tried to return/replace it and the replacement bike that showed up had the same issue. Disappointing

Pros
  • The bikes are a great way to get kids outside and active
Cons
  • Poor paint quality that chips and fades easily

Teach your kid to ride!

After struggling for years, my kid jumped on his 2 wheel bike and started riding in his own after just 1 month of messing around on this balance bike! Astounding!

Pros
  • The tires are puncture-resistant and durable
Cons
  • Not suitable for all terrains

Fantastic! - my new review

These bikes have been perfect for our two young daughters! I look forward to using them more as the weather gets nice! Tendency to tip over easily.

Pros
  • Young children will feel a sense of pride and accomplishment when they learn to ride on their own
Cons
  • Tendency to tip over easily
