I've been working on my own cars for over forty years and was quite surprised when the ol' 2006 Mercedes side mirror presented me with a screw that I didn't already have a tool for. These Torx Star (5 point) bits were exactly what I needed to remove the side mirrors and with two day shipping, it wasn't going to be worth my time driving around town trying to find a place that might carry these. I got an impact screwdriver that works great, but it was delivered with only one bit! This bit set came to the rescue. These are good quality bits and come in multiple sizes and form factors to meet a wide variety of needs. I've used these with my impact driver to tighten/loosen some pretty snug screws with great success. The holder keeps the bits from getting lost. I'm real happy with this purchase and use it frequently.

After a prolonged effort to remove several stripped hex head screws on my steering wheel, I ordered this screw remover set. Within seconds and without using the drill bit, I was able to back out the two stripped screws. Excellent value and a purchase that will be useful for years to come.

Very well made bits for the price, the security recess isn't too small or too large so the bits fit nicely into the strange 5 point security "torx" commonly used by companies that would rather you don't fix your own stuff (Bose, Apple, etc.)

To be honest, I didn't realize there were 5 point and 6 point secure torx bits. I bought some cheap 5 point secure torx bits from a local computer retail chain only to find them cheaply made and the center holes off center.These were perfect! Solid construction and no "off center" holes. I threw out the cheap ones and kept these. Worth every penny. Extremely happy with the product.
