Inherent design flaw as others have pointed out

I've been a huge fan of Keen shoes for the past 10 years until now with this pair. After about 30 days of everyday use and a few short hikes, the heel strap broke. exactly where other reviewers (see my picture) show in pictures. After several emails/application forms I was credited for purchasing a new pair on their website. However, since this is an obvious design flaw, I opted for the Newport leather version, for which I had to pay an additional $10. Hope they last long. I should point out…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Torn

Bought these for my husband who had to have big toe surgery because he needed a wide toe box. He usually wears a size 12 and I bought a size 13 not knowing how much more space I'm getting. They fit perfectly, with good arch support, a modest cupped heel and plenty of toe room with a fully adjustable top lacing to keep the shoe from dangling. (to avoid blistering). He loves her! I've always liked Kens because I have "ridged feet" with a low arch. Now he came to his narrower, high-arched feet. PS

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out

I am so unsatisfied. I bought them for ours.

I am so unhappy. I bought them for our vacation to Universal Studios and they fell apart the first day in the morning and I had to walk around in broken shoes all day.

  • Good gathering

Not for people with wide feet/high insteps.

I wear New Balance men's hiking shoes size 8 (6E) or 8 1/2 (4E). I first ordered Keen sandals in size 9 Keen H2 but it was very difficult to get the sandals as the laces were fully stretched to fit my foot. The basis of the sandal was a comfortable fit. I sent these H2s back thinking the Hydro-M might fit a size 9 1/2. I couldn't even put the upper on my foot with the laces fully undressed. The toe pad would work in either sandal, the toe-only fork just doesn't work on me. The kinas appear to…

Great river shoes

This is my second pair. I wore out my first pair by wearing them as general purpose sandals that weren't really made for what they were supposed to be. Even when they did, they lasted a year and did double duty as my river kayaking/fishing shoes and everyday casual shoes. I find them (obviously) very comfortable, but I'd like to make a caveat: if you're in pebbly or gravel-bottomed water, some of those pebbles will get under the soles of your feet. They're bugs that need to get out. Traction is

Incorrect descriptions Given

I read online at Keen that this shoe has been redesigned for narrower feet and extra arch support. Revain's description states that the insole is removable (so the customer can use their own orthotics). ALL LIES! These shoes are wider than any shoes I've ever seen! On each side of the pads of my feet is 3/4 inch of an empty boot! There is no arch support and the insole is definitely not removable. Also, the webbed upper was too narrow and it was difficult for me to fit even my thin, thin feet…
