Didn't work for me

I bought it so I could charge a low car battery if needed because this unit was on sale. Well I guess it's a REALLY LOW powered and SLOW charger, which is just something you need to know. I didn't understand that and now I'm stuck with a dead battery and missed my appointment, thinking this would've got me enough power within an hour to at least start the car. It would be better used as a "BATTERY TENDER" as others have stated. Keeping your battery alive when not using it for long periods of…

This thing sucks best in my review

I bought this last spring to charge my scooter battery since it had been sitting all winter. It didn't work, but I assumed it was because the battery was so dead, so I just bought a new battery in April. FFWD to today, 8 months later, and new battery and riding over the summer - thing still won't charge. The battery is almost new and the scooter only has been dead for maybe a month or less. I'm trashing this. Its easier and cheaper to get a new scooter battery every year.

needed to recharge my 48v golf cart

this was perfect for the job. My cart had died over the winter and this allowed me to charge each 8v battery rather then trying to do the math for my 6/12v charger and did the job very quickly.

So far so good!: my feedback

It works great so far. The trick will be that it doesn’t over change this destroying my battery over a long winter. If it’s cool. I’ll buy three more. I have to many motorcycles.

Works like a charm.

Great charger to keep battery at top level. I attached the one piece to the lawn tractor battery and when not using I plug the charger in to the piece attached to the battery. Just unplug when I need to use without touching the battery.

Junk-Lasted lest than 4 months

Unit lasted a little under 4 months. Impossible to find a contact number for warranty service(Unit is warranted for 2 years). This is one of those "Buyer Beware" items.

No instructions included(really) and no selector switch for 8volt or 12volt. Don’t know when it’s charging or charged up

It works great until I used it five times

I have a 2003 GMC Envoy that keeps draining the battery every 3 weeks. I put this on the battery and it showed the battery waits low and started charging after a couple of days it showed the battery was charged. I just left it connected because it doesn't charge with a fully charged battery, but when is goes low again it starts charging again. It worked good for five charges then the power contacts started crackling and the LED indicators blinking on and off cutting out. So I purchased one that

1 month of ownership and I'm pleased with how simple and effective this charger is to use. It charges my old LifePO4 battery very well and the quick connector makes life easy.

Always connected, always working

I bought this charger to trickle charge a 6V battery powering an automated chicken coop door. I leave the charger connected at all times. We haven't had a single problem yet. The LEDs are very useful since they let us know the status of the system at a glance. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Good value; multiple charging functions

Valuable features: short-circuit, reverse polarity and over heating protection. Also valuable: maintenance charging keeps battery fully charged over time; 2-year warranty; and intuitive easily- read indicator lights. I use it to maintain an infrequently-used battery.

  • Its only 1.5 amps but charged all my batteries well. Hard to find an 8 volt at this low price.

Connecting wires not long enough.

This is easy to use but I would love to have had the wires that connect to the battery to be longer, especially the ones that can be bolted to the battery. I would love to be able to pass it through the grill so that I can plug it in without having to open the hood each time but the wires are about 12 to 18 inches too short to do that.
