Fix a Leaking Kohler and Be Happy

This product fixed my leaking Kohler jerry can toilet. The old seal must have been old when we moved into the stable in 2012. It didn't start flowing until the summer, and this year 2018 it was leaking constantly. I called the plumbers to inspect both toilets which were leaking. They said they had to order parts, charged me $179 for nothing and wouldn't come back. So I watched the YouTube videos a few times and got the courage to fix it myself (I'm 72). It took about 2 hours from start to…

This is the CORRECT seal to replace the RED SEAL

Looking to replace the RED seal on the bottom of your Kohler canister? This is the one. I know it's yellow, but it's the right seal to stop a leaking/running Kohler toilet. SO easy to install. 1: Turn off the water at the bottom of the toilet. 2. Flush the toilet (tank must be empty after flushing). 3. Disconnect the flushing circuit. 5: Remove the assembly from the toilet bowl. 6. Replace the red seal with a yellow one. 7. Assemble in reverse order (turn stem clockwise to tighten). . This is a

Easy to change. Not well done

I don't know what presentation means, so I didn't rate it. I'm not a Kohler fan. Let me start with that. I constantly fix and clean their toilets. Maybe I'm a fan because they give me a lot of orders? Hit or miss these rings. Sometimes they hold, sometimes they don't. They are easy to replace and are usually the root cause of Kohler toilet problems. This ring is easy to change, but it is expensive and of poor quality. In any case, if you're unfortunate enough to have a Kohler toilet and it…

Worked great after cleaning the base it fits on.

I surfed the internet to find out why my fifth grade Kohler toilet started intermittently. Everyone concluded that that little yellow gasket was worn out and needed replacing. There was a great Kohler video that explained the steps to fix this little problem. I gradually replaced the gasket and the toilet STILL worked intermittently so I flushed it once, checked it after half an hour and found it was still losing water in the tank. I turned off the water and flushed the tank to empty it. I then

Perfect replacement for Kohler Cimarron Red Seal toilet

We have a Kohler Cimarron toilet with a red valve seal. It was the perfect replacement. The reason we got it was because the toilet was very difficult to flush after 2 years; The flush handle had to be squeezed really hard - it was like getting stuck. Replacing this one changed everything - he reverted to the new one. A little tip here, the packaging has instructions on the back. So when you get to the part where you have to turn the middle part of the canister mechanism disc counter-clockwise…

Wow! The quick fix that changes the world!

After months of struggling with a slowly deteriorating gasket I finally bought a replacement. The old one looked like it was made out of polar fleece. The original natural rubber seal appears to have been damaged by large chlorox tablets that I put in the tank a while ago. Replacing the seal took almost five minutes from start to finish, and now the regular refilling of the toilet bowl has stopped and the physical exertion required to press the flush handle has been reduced from a ridiculous…
