I installed this in about 10 minutes including the time it took to flush the tank and remove the old part. The only difficulty is that you insert the piece and gasket into the wall of the toilet bowl where the hole is and then try to screw it down. So basically you're really using force to push it as hard as you can into the front wall of the tank as you rotate it to the locked position.
