Description of Koyo RCB 101416 Roller Bearing Plastic

Roller clutch and bearing assembly for transmitting torque in one direction while allowing free overrun in the opposite direction. Roller bearings on each end of the clutch for carrying radial loads. Drawn steel outer shell (cup) has a small cross-section for use in restricted spaces. Molded acetyl resin polymer clutch cage with an integral leaf spring for each roller. Through-hardened, high-carbon chromium steel rollers for heat tolerance and durability under heavy loads.

Low Quality Plastic Bearing

Industrial and Scientific customers beware! Based on my experience, this plastic bearing is not worth purchasing. The pros are that it is lightweight, but that's where the good news ends. The cons are numerous: it's flimsy, it wears out quickly, it's noisy, and it doesn't withstand heavy use. Save your money and invest in a better quality bearing.

Perfect for rebuilding Vasa ergometer drive coils

Improved Vasa ergometer drive coils with a PAIR of these coils per coil. Now with double gripping the coils in one direction, the resistance is more direct and stronger. These bearings fit perfectly in both ends of the spools.

This camp has saved me a lot of money.

I purchased a StarTrac recumbent from a local retailer through Craigslist. A bike is a serious piece of equipment and was originally installed in a commercial gym. I paid less for it than I would have spent on a "hobby" NordicTrack or Schwinn at a major department store. I used it very rarely for a few months and kept it in my garage (no air con) but when I moved to a larger location I was able to store the bike in a guest room. I started using the bike a lot more and that's where the problems…
