Do not use this product if it is not of the same quality and material. I've used the ones you buy for drywall and they rust quickly. Cool, handle doesn't get hot. I even use it to slice meat in a black stone skillet. it's so hard

I would highly recommend this knife if its your work. I love everything about it but what I like best is that it doesn't rust or break. I have broken many knives over the years as this is what I do for a living. For anyone who complains about stiffness. Honestly, get real. I'll teach you how to smear mud. and i am a woman! THE MALE!

The quality of this knife is so much higher than what you will find in big stores, it really cannot be compared. I'm a DIY enthusiast but have worked on a few big projects and now I have another one. I liked my Hyde knife as it was better than other products I've found. This knife makes my Hyde knives look and feel like cheap branded junk. I will already buy another one in case I lose or somehow ruin this one.

Product works as intended, easy to use and easy to clean. I wash mine in hot water as soon as possible after completing the project and let them dry without issue, i.e. no rust. I bought this particular brand after seeing a YouTube video of a professional carpenter reviewing carbon and stainless steel drywall tools. I have been using Hyde and Goodell for concrete preparation for twenty years. They must have changed the composition of the metal over the years. My plaster on the floor stretches more than it should, and the metal wears out quicker. I decided to try a craft unfamiliar to many traders in the Northeastern United States.
