Strong but so heavy!

I feel bad about this. I know this is one of the strongest bike locks you can buy, but when you watch YouTube videos of someone using a battery-powered grinder to cut through this chain in just a few seconds, you're wondering if you're using something that heavy and need durable. If it takes another 10 seconds to cut it through, I don't think it will deter a professional thief at all, but I think the guys with bolt cutters are going to have a hard time getting through, so it has its perks. Good option if you prefer combination locks

I bought this lock after my teenage son broke the key in one of the most expensive kryptonite mini padlocks rendering it useless. This lock is easy to use and offers moderate security in scenarios with low to medium risk of theft, such as. etc. I think this is an improvement in security over most combination cable locks as the chain links are very thick. Good for what it is

When you need a chain lock this is a great choice. The chain is well built, and the built-in clasp feels more durable than most (it's all metal, not plastic, and feels like it's going to be difficult to cut). The downside is that like any chain, it's heavy. This particular model offers a good balance between safety and weight. Standard bolt cutters will have a hard time with these, but they're not that difficult to carry. However, powerful bolt cutters can cut through it. I wouldn't use this in
