The mount itself worked adequately. This was just perfect for what I needed. However, the 6mm drill was a joke. He barely got through the very soft jaws.

Good idea but difficult to keep in place. The clamping works, but at the expense of precision. The one I received had a torn rubber seal, but I'm assuming that's an anomaly. But the design isn't.

The dowel bracket supplied had a defect. The collets that attach to the drill bits and control the depth of cut had a burr on the socket head cap screw. As a result, the collets did not slip on the drills. I had to cut the burr to fit the collet to the drill bit.

This is a handy little tool, but the 8mm drill sleeves (yes, all) don't fit properly. The one already screwed into the mount only screws halfway before it starts stripping the threads in the mount and the other two 8mm sockets don't fit the mount at all, they are too big.

This is a great product and it works really well. This makes the work very easy. One mistake: There are two small washers in the center section mounting bolts, and in both cases the washers were broken. I have tried replacing them but they are hard to find as they have to be very thin to fit. It would be a pity to return the whole lamp because of this, so I'm looking for a solution. Otherwise it is a great product and I can only recommend it.

Judging by the pictures, the exercises are bad. But the jig is great. Dinner neat for dowels. In the picture I drilled two pieces of wood separately and put them together to try. You will need a good 6mm, 8mm and 10mm drill bit if you don't already have one. The bit stops are solid but I still have metal notches after drilling and sealing them with tape for the Allen screws. You may need to run a drill through them to remove the notches.
