He loves it in Learning & Education

He can't count and count but he loves all the noises and lines this toy makes. As someone who doesn't live in the house I'm also fascinated by how loud it is, especially since I can get video and mute the sound. However, it is not as good as moon sand.

For your little customers

This is a great little toy for your little ones aged 2+. It will help them with eating, counting, forms, etc. It's interactive. Several different modes that require you to scan items and add them to your shopping cart. If you have a toddler who loves the grocery store and shopping in general, that would be great.

Enjoy: Education & Training

They loved this basket and the LeapFrog Count-Along Scanner. They had a lot of fun. There was a lot in it. It worked well. Glad there were so many. They really liked to play pretend. I think such a game is very educational and interesting for them. The quality was good. It worked as it should. There were no problems, I recommend.

Loud but fun for kids

My 3 year old daughter loves to push her imaginary shopping carts and she seemed to enjoy it. It easily converts from a basket to a shopping cart and stores all groceries and the scanner when not in use. The different scanner modes can be useful for kids doing this, but mine just loves to scan things and throw them in the cart. Great for roleplay.

E-Learning Toy Fun Basket

My 4 year old seems to enjoy it more than my 18 month old. Both love to carry the basket in any mode. My 4 year old loves to scan everything but also enjoys interacting with the educational prompts that come with scanning the items he brings. The basket offers enough space to easily play "supermarket" with other products. The noise isn't too annoying or loud, so that's a bonus. As for the "irritation factor", it only bothers me when my 4 year old insists on scanning my face, but it's hardly the

Fun Shopping Toy - turned our toy kitchen into a toy store!

This is a cute toy with some basic educational games. Scanning is a little weird because you have to place the scanner directly on the item and then it sticks to it with a magnet. At first we just wanted to point the scanner at the food, but you really need to point the scanner directly at it. Once we get the hang of it, it works great. And it still beeps even if you use it with other toys. It is convenient to use as a game store, even in addition to the simple games that are included. My 3…

Cute, fun, interactive and inexpensive

What a cute boy! This leapfrog ticket, along with the basket and scanner, is probably the cutest toy I've gotten for my 2 year old in the past year. It's really cute and interactive! The scanner has a few different modes and games that you can play on it. You can find something yellow, or the number 1, or bread, and so on. Also included is a list of products that you can use to "buy" what's on the list. The basket is a good size, not huge but not tiny either, and converts into a trolley very…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Appearance

Not sure if ours is broken or not but this toy didn't do anything it should. This seemed like a great idea for toddlers and preschoolers as they are always happy to help out at the inspection desk. So we excitedly opened them. The packaging wasn't as difficult to open as some of the toys you'll come across. Batteries are included, but the "scanner" just beeps. I'm pretty sure it should say "Nice job!" , or other platitudes to teach children about numbers, shapes and colors. For example: One of…
