Great Reversible Strap

I use straps to sharpen wood carving tools, kitchen utensils and personal knives. This sling has excellent quality characteristics. It is of good length and has skin on both sides (smooth on one side and rough on the other). Great value for money, great looking product that works very well for me.

Green Elephant has done it again! I am a professional chef and for the last 10+ years I have used stones, steel and bands to keep my knives sharp. A year ago I bought a Green Elephant ceramic blade for knife maintenance between sharpenings - I use it daily and the blade still works with no wear. Decent sling, but the price is high. Use cation when applying abrasive paste.

I've had it for about a month. First let me say that the sling is a good size and well made, but it costs more than other slings of similar size and quality. I also didn't feel that the combination of diamond paste and leather strap worked well together. I applied the paste to the rough side of the sling and spread it out as per the instructions but found that once dry the paste clogged the sling turning it into a hard surface. I have tried removing it with mineral oil as instructed but it hasโ€ฆ
