This is a surprisingly heavy paper (more like card stock) with a good texture. The adhesive is quite strong so the pages don't come off easily (and in fact it will take some effort to peel them off). Ideal for showcasing work that requires texture - sketches, watercolours, etc., but also holds well on wet media. Really nice.

I used this paper for the two mixed media projects shown. Both have 4 product primers, 5 layers of acrylic on top, followed by texture paste, stamps, ink, pen and other colors. The paper is holding up great! Won't roll, won't warp, doesn't need a stack of books to flatten it out. Perfection! I didn't know what to expect and was very happy with my results. Actually, I'm preparing to start a new project!

This paper adheres very well to all types of wet media: gouache, marker, watercolor, ink. It doesn't wobble even with heavy water use and hardly seeps to the other side. It provides a stable, smooth surface to apply a base color, wait for it to dry and then paint over it. The paper is nice and thick and has good surface roughness, it is better to match the color. These sheets of Leda mixed media paper are beautiful! I mainly create mixed media art and draw into a magazine first and then repaint it onto 140lb paper or canvas. It's just that this paper weighs 140 pounds and can work with almost any media. It is cold pressed with a light texture. It will likely curdle a little if you oversaturate it. Just wait for it to dry, place a larger protective sheet over it and press down with a large book and it should flatten out after a while. This paper is thick

This mixed technique from Leda Art Supply worked great. First I used a pen and alcohol marker, the markers were translucent but the paper didn't sag or bow. Then I tried watercolor, I was impressed. Every paper I've used for watercolors has warped and looked awful, but not this one. The paper is slightly textured, which was perfect for both of my creations. Okay, that's great paper. It has a really grainy texture, the leaves are WHITE (not that horrid purple hue that all watercolor albums by unknown companies seem to be these days), and it's just a joy to touch and use. It's intended for mixed media, so not quite a watercolor paper, but it holds up fairly well and the texture and quality of the paper really works in its favor. The texture of this paper lends itself very well to watercoloring or painting. It holds up well to a lot of water manipulation when using watercolors. It fits nicely in my smaller utility knife and is easily swapped out for things like greeting cards. This can be especially important if you plan on framing what you've made, as the paper sizes are a bit unusual.
