I'm hanging a piece of glass on a hook on the porch and I don't want the wind blowing it off the hook. These hooks have a hinge part that prevents the hanger from flying out in the wind. I am very satisfied with the quality of the hook.

Too bad I didn't read the reviews before buying it. They are too small for my coffee mug handles, even the thinnest handles. They appear to be of decent quality but I can't think of any cup handles that would suit them other than very petite teacups.

I bought these hooks for our pull out camper: I bought three small reflective awnings to hang over the bunk ends and extend out the dining area to reduce internal heat from the sun. Holes drilled and filled with silicone. Well done! When we first tried to use the awnings by hooking their eyes to several hooks, two of the nine hooks immediately came loose leaving screws in the camper wall! These are not heavy awnings. We're talking about ONC here. And those hooks failed in the worst possible…
