Single best tool to own

By far the greatest tool to own if you are thinking about painting your whole house or just touch a room. It scrapes away the old paint and helps with nail holes

Pros
  • No me gusta lo largo
Cons
  • Not ideal for precision work due to larger size

Over One Year of Abuse

For the last year I've been prying and hammering on this little guy. I was careful with it at first - we'd just bought a new condo and I used it to remove old tack strips that were under carpet, or to yank nails, or as a tape knife. There came a point where I figured I'd gotten more than my money's worth, so I started abusing it, because why not? I'll just shell out another $12 if I need to. A few minutes ago I hammered it between a glued on escutcheon and my bathroom tile that is going to be…

Pros
  • Great for grout removal. Solid tang takes a hammer beating.
Cons
  • cheep it broke already

Good quality, well thought out multi use tool

I'm not a frequent painter but had heard this tool mentioned as an under-rated all around tool and it filled a need so I purchased one. Mostly using it as a scraper to remove labels or prep for installation of POS terminals. It is handy for scraping and I appreciate the hammer end. I don't expect to use it as a paint tool ever and it is still a solid addition to my tool box. There aren't a lot of options to hold it given the handle design. There should be a more comfortable and safe transition…

Pros
  • Multiple uses good tool to have
Cons
  • First week cheap plastic handle brakes
