Great pump. on Fish & Aquatic Animals

Relay like this powerful pump. Replaced a burned out one that lasted 3 years. The same model number covers some hull design changes. it didn't bother me.

Good pump. - Aquarium pumps and filters

Bought to replace the same model that eventually died. Mine is used outside so I don't notice any major audio issues. I like the flow setting, nice and simple. The last one lasted a few years, so I hope this one does the same.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Can't remember

Calm and cool, my dear!

Very, very quiet. I run mine outside on a 180 gallon reef tank. It also flows out of the manifold and pushes through 2 canister filters with a charcoal filter. I like it very much ---- worth the price. I have bought several sizes of pumps from the lifeguard and am very happy with all of them.

This pump is very quiet and delivers a high flow rate

This pump is very quiet and delivers a high flow rate. The built in flow control is new but not the reason I chose the pump. I was looking for a powerful submersible pump and the Lifeguard Aquatics Quiet One 5000 aquarium pump proved to be a good choice.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

Revain does not ship pump in photos

I have been using this pump for many years and need a replacement. Here in the picture, just like mine. So I order and they send a submersible pump with outlet only, no inlet. Absolutely useless for me. And I have to spend time and money going to the UPS store to ship it back to them and get my money back. Change the picture/fix the problem. I fixed mine by working directly with the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Appearance

The pump was noisy from the start stopped working after 2 months took it apart and found the impeller housing was broken because it was a third party that sold it to me will not accept my refund. Talk to the company that does this as it was sold on Revain. A third party not accepting my refund as Revain made it very difficult to get a refund. I'm still trying to get a refund from Revain, a very expensive issue that doesn't seem to have a fix.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Reliable, Quiet, Long Life (7yrs+)

Works well - I use two of these in a 200 gallon salt water tank (in line, non-submersible) with 6 foot head and get at least 6 water revolutions per hour . They are a bit too powerful for my aquarium and the direction of the jet needs to be carefully chosen not to blow the sand to the bottom of the tank or create too fast a current for the corals or anemones and/or their flow restrictors/reducers somewhat subdued (up to approx. 80%). I have had Quiet One pumps over the years and they are really

Wrong description. Must be "loud "

I've been searching the market for a fully returnable pump for my 150 gallon tank but never wanted to spend a lot of money. I found this product and decided to risk it. The description of this product is completely opposite to the one declared. This pump is very loud! Also feels very cheap. Other pumps like the Rio, Eheim, and others use a much harder paste formulation that offers a much more durable look. I do not recommend this product to anyone who is sensitive to drone noise. In general the
