Lower portion of handleset features an exterior lower grip and interior door lock.All Schlage handlesets feature adjustable through-bolts that slide up and down 1-1/2" - 38mm, eliminating the need to patch or re-drill your door. Pair with the touchscreen deadbolt on front and exterior doors. Patented adjustable through bolt moves up and down 1-1/2" to fit a variety of pre-existing door holes, eliminating need for patching and re-drilling. Backset - Universal latches and deadbolts fit 2-3/8 inch (60mm) or 2-3/4 inch (70mm) backsets. Metal construction adds strength, security and durability. Adjusts to fit all standard door preps.General: Min. 5-1/2 Center-to-Center distance between cross bore holes.Door thickness range: 1-5/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch thick. Practical short-term locking technique

This lock worked perfectly from January 2016 to April 2018 and has had many problems since. We used it in conjunction with the Wink Hub. Batteries are discharged approximately every 3 months, with or without frequent use. Now the keyboard is dead and we've tried every possible fix without a factory reset or Schlage support. I tried calling Schlage but couldn't get anyone to help. I'm waiting to see if they reply to the email I sent with instructions on how to get it working again. I'm not 100%…

Easy lever replacement for our previous front door handle kit

My wife recently asked me to replace all round door handles in our new home with levers for easier operation. That's the only thing I was concerned about, due to problems we had with a similar replacement in another house a few years ago. However, I had nothing to fear. This new handle just fell straight into the holes left over from the previous set of doors and only needed to drill a stop for the bottom screw. Nice grip. The bottom rectangle can be moved up and down if needed to line up with the previously drilled hole. Also, the handle and bottom rectangle can "twist" a bit, so you'll need to make sure you get it straight up and down. It's okay, just don't tighten everything "inside" until you're looking at the handle from the outside.
