Flat, not round, but still very beautiful!

It is important to note that this is thin tinsel, thin and flat. It looks thicker because it's so bulky and it's great for what I need it for, but I was expecting the thread to be round. I still really like it and I'm glad it's available!

Pros
  • Threads and floss
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

The end result looks great if you can put in the effort

The end result looks great but too much effort. Despite the lowest machine speed and highest stitch needle, the thread breaks every second in a high-tech machine. I am a regular customer of Madeira. This product really disappointed me. That is not to be expected from a company like Madeira.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other options

nice thread. Easily removed from the needle when embroidering.

Nice thread. The shape resembles a sliding thread (flattened on one side). This probably explains why it is thrown off the needle when embroidering. Luckily my machine stops when the filament comes loose and I can just reload and get on with my work. I've found that keeping my fingers on the spool helps control the thread advance and keeps it from falling out of the needle. Be sure to use a stabilizer. I used Solvy thinner on the back of the garment and Solvy water soluble solution on theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Thread for embroidery and floss
Cons
  • Crumpled
