Works Very Well - Power & Hand Tools

I bought this to cut 12ga stainless steel and it worked very well. I think he just lost a few teeth. Cut out two sinks, cleaned and still works.

It's 30T, 5-3/8 ", with a 5/8 " spike blade.

Despite the advertising, I received a 5 3/8" blade with a 5/8" mandrel and 30 teeth. The only thing that is true about the ad is that "Makita" is written on both blades.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Definitely Bad Product

He does what he says

I cut a very large stainless steel tank. I had my doubts when I bought this so I bought two just in case. I expected it to get boring quickly. I was surprised at how easily it cuts. I cut the tank all the way around and it's still sharp! A pleasant surprise! How often do you get something that does what it says on the tin without a few buts or disappointments.

Does the job well

Cuts through 1/4 inch thick hardened steel like it was butter. The blade is a great combination for on-site metal cutting when using the Makita cordless model #XSC04Z. Excellent chip collection. .very little dirt on the cuttings and the gripping system can be easily emptied No problem with the cutting corner The Makita cordless hacksaw itself is light, does not discharge the 5.0 Ah battery too quickly and is very comfortable overall in combination with this blade.

Pros
  • Excellent value
Cons
  • Safety

The right knife for the right job!

I've been known to pay as much for a blade as for the saw itself. If I do that, they both last VERY long. That won't lower the price of the saw, but it's not cheap either. However, if you want to get the job done right, this is the disc you need. and he laughs at aluminum. Although on aluminum, the teeth tend to stick. Be sure to use an appropriate face mask, not just goggles. Otherwise your razor will chip from the steel filings on your face. Only criticism is that the label is printed on the…

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Not bad

This blade works with a brushless hacksaw 18V. The saw is a little marvel, mainly for cutting sheet metal, some more steel, no problem. Reinforcement 1/2 inch, no problem. The new blade cuts through tin like butter, and I've cut through thick recycled corrugated iron roofing, which is rare these days. I needed two blades to make a 3000 square foot area. Feet with hips and valleys. Cutting thick material. I used to make roofs with commercial composite sheets, a type of sand. These blades burn…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No.

2 blades did the job of cutting more than 30 slabs of 304 20ga

I needed blades to cut 4 x 10 panels of 20ga 304 stainless steel for Makita woodworking! Chainsaw (XPS01). I wanted to use this saw because the rails allow me to make straight cuts quickly and easily. In addition, the saw can be adjusted in speed so as not to exceed the recommended blade speed. Another search criteria was to find a thin blade less than 6 1/2 inches in diameter that would fit my saw. At first I also looked for blades with a 20 mm bore, but without success and finally went in…
