Worked great on the rear cargo door. We added a rear ladder to our LR3 and the extra weight prevented the tailgate from staying up and that solved the problem.

High tear resistance! The heavy lift gate on my Land Rover was a little difficult to replace by one person. Now it just pops out so fast it almost hits you in the chin!

Easy installation and quick solution to the problem of native luggage racks breaking up in the cold. Now the top hatch opens so fast I have to step back to get out of the way. It will calm down after a while.

Purchased for our 2005 Land Rover LR3. Appears to be top quality. The two pillars proved too strong for the rear upper tailgate. (opens with difficulty). One of the originals ended up staying with just one of these new units and it's now much easier to close (still holds the tailgate with a new and an old used luggage rack with no issues).

I changed the shock absorbers on my 2008 LR3 myself (please do not try at home and always follow safety precautions). In any case, the process of removing the old racks with a flathead screwdriver and installing new ones took less than 3 minutes. The lifting power of this pair is excellent. Let's see how well they age in a year. :)
