MAXXHAUL 50130 Waterproof Truck Bag - 50" x 40" x 22" Review

We have just driven 900 miles, some of them in heavy rain. Our luggage and cargo stored in this product stayed completely dry. It is very durable and fully sealed. I have a GMC Canyon and it fits nicely in the bed of my truck. My only gripe with MaxxHaul is that it only opens at the end so loading is tricky when trying to get luggage to the end. The product would be easier to load if it was zipped on three sides instead of one.

It was the best investment for our vacation! My husband and I decided to take our first family trip with our baby, which meant many things. The photo shows that the bag itself occupies the whole body. This was with 5 large/very full duffel bags for 7 days. There's still plenty of room for our 110 and 45 Yeti coolers, sidecars, XL bedchairs, tackle and bows. I really like this product. I chose this instead of getting an actual veil. The cover is about $1,000 for what I like, which was on a previous truck. We had no problems with it until it rained for about 5 hours during our trip. All our luggage was wet, there was puddles of water in the bag when we got home and one of our padded suitcases had puddles of water as well. I purchased this Maxxhaul 50130 truck bag as a side item on the listing due to GM being unable to fit my hard case truck. I traveled from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina in rainy weather and NOTHING got wet. I'm moving and wanted to pack more delicate things and luggage in this bag. Downloaded yesterday, moved tomorrow. We've had a lot of storms lately and one was last night. It leaked through the zip to the front of the bag, although there is a ridge covering the zip. I think that's to be expected from any flash.
