Very happy with my purchase!

Great product! Works well, installation takes 5 minutes. Comes with everything you need to attach the kayak to your vehicle. I use it in my 2-door Kia. Very happy with the price and functionality.

Great alternative to the trunk

It's great to have extra straps and inserts for the trunk and hood. I used my own ratchet straps for the front and back. I recommend this as I'm not sure how else you would get enough tension on them.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons

Quality accessories

Very easy to install, you just throw it in and clip it in. Came with all the ropes and zip ties you could need. The trunk gadget didn't work on my hood. It just pops out, but that might be a function of my specific car model (2016 Ford Escape). The 10ft paddleboard felt very secure on top. Very happy with the purchase, especially for the price.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Very reliable, best accessory

EDIT - I said in a previous review that the straps provided are adequate for commuter travel but not reliable enough for highway travel. I did not use the straps that came with it. I just had to follow the instructions. Secured to the trunk and hood front to back with straps and tie ropes, it's perfectly secure for any ride with what's here!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Better than advertised

To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price. My car doesn't have a roof rack and I had to transport a kayak. I didn't want to spend $400-$500 to add a factory roof rack to my car so I settled on the MeeFar Universal Car Soft Top Car Rack and was expecting $70, even though it was below average it was enough for me for a while. But when I received it (just in time) I thought the quality was excellent. All components were solid and will serve my needs for many years to come. I will and will

Very Good Vehicle - Car Carrier & Carrier

Good Vehicle. 60 km/h and without jerking. Take the time to adjust the pads where it makes sense. There is a protective film on the buckles to avoid scratching the paint, but I had them in the car. The ropes on the front and back are soft and elastic, so they will not damage the paint. I had the rear end lowered onto my hitch, but I'd probably take zip ties like the hood and put them in the trunk instead of the rope rubbing against the trunk lid. I unbuckled all the straps and was able to slide

Great kayak carry set

Includes straps, ropes and 2 very cool T-pads/straps that fit under the inside edge of the hood and/or trunk to attach something. The pads themselves are a kind of padding but nice and firm to keep the boat from sinking too deep and give enough clearance over the roof. For my tandem kayak I flipped it over so the second seat would open over my satellite dish so it wouldn't press on it. I have an electric car so being able to remove this "pillar" is invaluable compared to permanent metal bracesโ€ฆ

Good for Hobie Outback Kayak

I've used it about 3 times in fresh and salt water to transport a 2018 Hobie Outback Kayak. I use it on a 2011 Toyota Avalon with a sunroof. So far no problems. I use all the straps that come with it. That means I also tie it to the trunk lock with a rope, front and back. All 3 trips were on track in 30-35 minutes one way at around 80mph. Based on feedback from people I actually know but use a different note system. I don't leave it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because I've been told that when
