💪 Meister Professional Heavy Bag Spring - Black (for Punching Bags up to 250lb) Review

I've been in martial arts for over 20 years and a boxer for over 10 years so I've tried several punching bags and therefore several punching bag accessories and all I can say is that spring is a beast . I bought it for a 200+ Aqua Bag and it handles it with no issues. I like that the length is shorter as my blankets are only 9ft.

Holds a heavy bag. I received it after the bag was knocked off the ceiling. Dropping the sack too quickly made him vomit. I have this spring to reduce the force of a fall if I hit my bag hard. So far it's good and holding up. Although it's not designed to hold a person, I tried hanging the bag and the spring barely moved. it is very strong

This spring works very well. We bought my son a heavy 70 pound bag and heard a lot of noise from the garage when he was using it (we have a bonus room just above the garage). Once we have the spring installed; Noise and impact are greatly reduced. It's definitely worth it and easy to install. See image. Thanks very much!

I actually bought 4 of these which may have been an overstatement but I use a heavybag stand and it made a lot of noise. I once bought these 4 quills and put £50 on each 8 for a poof stand! Noise is 90% gone and bag swing reduced by 60-70%! I'm still thinking of getting rid of the stand and using a ceiling mount, but that has nothing to do with springs, they do the job well!

Used this in my garage on a 100 lb bag. Without the spring, every hit on the bag would cause the garage door to rattle and cause hard knocks that would actually cause the bag to bounce up and down. shook the whole building. I put the feather on and she was completely silent every other day for the first two weeks. It started making noise again, so I'm guessing the spring isn't as tight anymore, but I'd still buy it again. When brand new it was absolutely perfect.

The spring is very strong and won't sag with my 70 lb bag hanging from it. I bought it to reduce the noise in the house when I hit the punching bag. My bag is hanging from a 6x6 joist in my garage and I've been told that in the upstairs bedrooms it sounds like a "nasal noise" or whatever sound you probably imagine a spring should make when it's up used in this way. UPDATE: I found a solution to the noise: I cut off a few inches of the bike's inner tube, folded them and placed them between the springs and the hook on my stand. It muffles the sound very well. I bought it to use with a heavy bag stand to try and reduce the noise. This had mixed results. It absorbs some of the shock and makes the stand frame move a little less and reduces *that* noise, but the noise of the spring rubbing against the metal hook was pretty shrill and bad.
