Bought these to replace the plastic in a new boxed motor. Turns out the new motor already had them installed, so I think I have a spare set if I ever need them.

Survived after the third time breaking a horrible newt. Just make sure you clean the intake manifold and replace it with a high capacity Melling oil pump when you get there.

bought to replace my oem tensioners on my 05 f150 but found a dealer who sold me a pair for not much more than me paid for this. It's exactly the same as the others I've bought which fit perfectly and work better than the cheap plastic bottles.

This product is by far the best on the market, even better than OEM I would say. Melling stands behind every piece they make. Don't use those cheap plastic tensioners, just spend the extra money and it will save you money later.

Used this on my 2005 Ford Expedition instead of the ridiculous OEM plastic version. Worked great! Now you don't have to worry about check engine lights because of this error as there is no gasket to fail. It simply connects metal to metal.

Much better than OEM plastic grommet tensioner. I had to measure in October 2016 and the OEM idlers failed in April 2018. I ordered them because they snap and don't repel from the chain, allowing the chain to slip.
