I am a frequent Merrell customer, I use their shoes for work in extreme conditions - the quality is good. I used to buy Merrell flip flops which were high quality and lasted a long time. I am very disappointed with this slipper model. It's not something I could buy at any retail store. Light and thin. The Vibram outsole looks nice but is thin and lacks support. Too small for the chosen size. Believe me, they got the shoe size wrong. I wear a size 10 and ended up being a size 10 for a woman. Now they belong to the woman.

Great sturdy pair of flip flops. They are comfortable around the toe and can be punched. ALSO suitable for easy hikes on the water. The outsole is durable, like any Merrell shoe. You look great too.

I was hoping these would be great Merrell flip flops but all summer they have been disappointing. The only positive is that the Vibram outsole offers great traction in the woods. Now I'm a size 8, every shoe I've ever bought is a size 8 and fits really well, although these don't. After walking in it for a few days, I found that the foot straps were too short on one side of my foot and too long on the other side of my foot, causing my heel to come off the sole while walking. The outsole in them is quite comfortable but the toe strap feels a bit small so it fits snugly on the top of the foot. My feet are a bit wide, but I don't usually have a problem with most flip flops.

I really like the vibrum soles on these flip flops (slippers for Hawaiians), but the nylon webbing on the straps is too thin and I often find it difficult to get my feet under the straps without lifting the strap to insert my feet . I'm used to more durable straps that hold their shape even after wearing the shoe for hours. They are comfortable, stable and great for running. They don't offer as soft a step as I expected, but they are very good.

This is a gift for my brother, he had the same pair but the sole was thicker and it was very comfortable. This sole is thinner, but for Vibram this is a great guarantee. He wears them every day :)

What Vietnamese! I have tried many from Quiksilver, Reef etc and these are them. At least for me. I live in the tropics and they are so versatile that they can be used both on the beach and in the city for lounging. Love her!. and bought two more pairs.

The straps are made of coarse material. When walking in them, the straps rubbed my legs and blistered. Definitely the wrong tape material. You want soft belts, not rough ones! My other RIFs have a great padded strap that Merrell needs to keep an eye on. The rest of the slippers are great! Good foothold with arch support.

I've always heard that flip flops are bad for you, especially if you're older (I'm 71). But it's great - no more sore arches or calves.

Everything was good except the leg straps had sharp edges. Tried sanding them smooth but to no avail. Fits well as long as you don't walk. I returned them for another pair or Merrill's.

Looked promising, stylish and beautiful including light colored soles, but this item was too uncomfortable (especially between the toes) out of the box. Like other comments here, this might be the die most uncomfortable flip flops I have ever bought, sadly I loved them but knew it would be a disappointment if I kept them to myself.

The straps are very rough which combined with the fact that Merrell continues to fit shoes for people with obesity or puffiness means the straps are loose and uncomfortable . The brands you're looking for are Olukai or Reef, thought I'd give Merrell another shot and unfortunately they continue to make things for a larger audience.
