Great for the Irban jungle

My favorite shoe for navigating the New York jungle. I've tried several pairs of these over the last 10 years and kept replacing them. These are my favorite everyday shoes: easy to put on, very comfortable, great support, stylish and waterproof. Excellent grip and ideal for light to moderate country hikes. I have a wide (EEE) foot and the W version fits me perfectly.

Pros
  • My husband loves these shoes and has had several of them in the past.
Cons
  • These shoes are for men with petite pointy toes and nobody else.

very comfortable, easy to carry

Great shoe, easy to put on. But sizing can be tricky, I originally took a regular 10, it was too narrow so I tried a 10 wide and it fits great.

Pros
  • second couple They sit perfectly on the narrow side, which is what I need.
Cons
  • Shoes become larger than usual, causing discomfort and blisters.

Gunsmoke More gray than brown, high arch, order 1 size up

I agree that Gunsmoke's color is more gray than brown (as mentioned in another 2019 post). I ordered from another seller (size 13) and had to return because they were too small. I have reordered (size 14) from Revain due to reduced price and availability. They seem to fit better. I have another pair of Merrell boots that are a size 13 and they fit perfectly. Find out. The biggest problem I have at the moment is the high arc. I hope it gets rammed when I wear them. I haven't tested their water…

Pros
  • My husband's favorite shoes. This is the only thing he will wear now. Says they fit like a glove.
Cons
  • Shoes lack cushioning, which causes discomfort when walking or standing for long periods.

Good shoes! My review

I'm happy with that. I read the reviews about the size and settled on the 10.5 Wide. I usually took 10 wide. A width of 10.5 is a bit too big for me, but a width of 10 would be too small. Much luck :)

Pros
  • I'm just replacing an old worn pair and have had Merrell's for about 20 years. They are great everyday shoes.
Cons
  • The shoes are not suitable for wider feet.

Outsole wears out quickly

The shoes are very comfortable, but the sole wears out very quickly. After about 3 months parts of the sole have almost disappeared. Usage was very moderate, just normal walking without using the trail. This has happened to many pairs, so it appears to be a single design flaw.

Pros
  • These are great shoes for walking, hiking and at home.
Cons
  • Expensive price for a basic shoe with no laces

Great for wide feet

Great for wide feet. Put on. Durable and comfortable. I already had a pair in beige, so a year later I got black. Excellent quality.

Pros
  • Second pair I have, worn out first pair, good quality.
Cons
  • Shoes are poorly ventilated, which leads to perspiration and an unpleasant odor.

Now better fit, very stiff sole

After receiving them for the first time, I wrote that "slippers" are too misinterpreted as "easy to put on" - they are not easy to put on. That's how it was when they were new and I wore an athletic sock. In those early days, the top of my foot ached from the pressure. However, after about a week and then putting on the socks, I can say that they fit very well. I was most impressed wearing them on a horrible night in the rain as these shoes spent many seconds allowing water to run down the toes

Pros
  • These are the most comfortable shoes I have. They are especially good during the cold months.
Cons
  • Shoes can creak when walking.

My favorite street shoes

This is my third pair in a long time. They fit great, they're really waterproof, comfortable and wear well. Whenever I need to go outside for water-related work like pressure washing, walking on wet grass, or collecting mail in the rain, I just put them on and go. The very aggressive tread pattern provides excellent traction but as always with these soles they can bring in a lot of dirt and debris so I'm keeping them on the door.

Pros
  • Work shoes, very well made!
Cons
  • The toe is too narrow. In addition, the step is narrow and feels like you are on rails.

These are the worst shoes I've ever had.

It seemed to fit well and comfortably, but after wandering around in it all day I became practically an invalid. I could hardly walk for several days. I tried several times with arcs I inserted etc. but the result was the same. I cannot recommend this shoe.

Pros
  • Great shoes. long game
Cons
  • Limited arch support can lead to foot pain

Fits perfectly! good for me

Best all weather work shoe my husband has ever worn! Fits him perfectly! Very easy to put on and take off! Thanks! Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Well done. Bought a lot over the years.
Cons
  • Shoes lack adequate ventilation, leading to odor and bacteria build-up.

The most comfortable all-weather shoe

The Merrell Jungle Moc is my favorite casual shoe for wet, dry, hot or cold weather. I have bought Merrell shoes for many years because they are comfortable to wear and look and feel great. I go for a lot of walks every day, regardless of the weather. These waterproof Jungle Mocs keep my feet dry whether I'm trudging down rain-soaked sidewalks or through inch-deep snow. And in the snow, the thick treads offer just enough traction to avoid those windy hands and slippery feet that make for great…

Pros
  • I use bird weather shoes.
Cons
  • Shoes can become slippery when wet, which can lead to falls and injuries.

I love the shoes but after only two months (worn very little) the heel comes off the shoe. Expect a lot more from this brand. Excellent customer service from Wolverine World Wide seller for problem solving.

Pros
  • The shoes are of excellent quality and fit perfectly. My husband has a 4EEE foot and loves it!
Cons
  • Shoes can cause discomfort due to the tight fit around the ankle.

Used and works great!

Every morning I walk the dog in my shop, I walk him on the wet grass to the edge of the forest. Proven waterproof and good grip.

Pros
  • Easily accessible on foot
Cons
  • I usually wear a 9 and ordered a 9.5 which is too small.

Quality product in my opinion

Merrell always goes the extra mile. Quality, comfort and functionality are what you expect from a company that prides itself on serving outdoor enthusiasts.

Pros
  • I've been wearing these shoes for many years. There is nothing better for a comfortable casual shoe than this shoe.
Cons
  • Shoes provide minimal ankle support and increase the risk of injury.

Great everyday shoes. Glide comfortably with great grip

Wears great. Comfortable for wide feet and still good grip when sliding. I did a short portion of the hike up the steep off-trail and it gave me no problems.

Pros
  • easy to put on and take off - good grip and waterproof.
Cons
  • The shoes are not breathable, which makes the feet sweaty and uncomfortable.

The best shoes I've had in a long time.

Like I said, these are the best shoes I've owned in a long time. They fit great, I can use them for everyday use or take a 20 mile hike. The only negative I can say is that they can take a while to break down. apart from these 5 stars.

Pros
  • My brother loved his gift and said the price was amazing!
Cons
  • The water-repellent coating wears off quickly, leaving the shoe vulnerable to water damage.

It doesn't get any better: my review

The shoes look great and fit great. It is very comfortable. It is very easy to put on and take off, but feels quite snug and holds up well.

Pros
  • Perfect fit, worn like irons, good arch support. Very convenient.
Cons
  • Fit can be an issue for those with wide or narrow feet.

Very comfortable - my new review

I love my Merrill shoes...they are more comfortable than my tennis shoes...I wear them all the time and this is my first waterproof shoe...thanks JSJ

Pros
  • Not the first order. Excellent glide for comfort.
Cons
  • The shoe lacks versatility in terms of clothing combinations.

Poor quality: my rating

Very bad quality. The sock fell off after a few months of brief use. The suede of the main body is also badly worn. Very disappointed to see that I have had good luck with Merrill in the past.

Pros
  • My husband lives in Merrels
Cons
  • Order half a size larger

Finally! My rating is good for me

Got it after a dozen other slip ons that my feet can't even fit in (probably made for locusts). These still work well for my 220 pounds and heavy use. I definitely recommend it. PS Getting on and off is easy and they don't fall off.

Pros
  • Waterproof, easy to put on and a Christmas present for dad. Wish it was half the size
Cons
  • Shoes can get hot in warm weather, causing discomfort and sweating.
