Very happy with it. Yes they are expensive but they are worth it. Easily adjustable to cover ANY blind spot. And yes, they stay in place after you set them. Just not in the car wash! I suppose they would certainly have been confused; I wouldn't risk anything. The instructions say to place it as close to the car as possible, but that's not necessarily the best spot. Good mirrors with good image quality. They could probably be a bit cheaper but offer excellent blind spot coverage. In situations that don't require towing, I personally recommend setting the mirrors to the five o'clock position of the rear view mirrors (lower right corner).
