I've been frustrated before, but something happens due to user error. In this case, I followed the instructions for exactly 4 out of 10 packs. 4+4+ minutes on each side of the orange to dark indicator beads. My microwave is not very powerful. Each pack burst on one side after 3 minutes. So I decided to check if this result can be repeated. I bought 2 packs and used the packs from the second pack. The result was exactly the same. When I first started using the product I was concerned about the short lifespan as the pack lasted less than a week before I had to dry it (in an airtight container about 2 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet). So I added a few more packs and it helped a bit, with three packs I was able to use a couple of weeks before needing to dry them out.
