Bulging Air Hoses - my new review

The reels happen to work perfectly. The air hoses on the other end appear to be crap. I've bought many of these over the past few years. This most recent batch however, over half of the reels I've purchased worked okay, but they all needed to have connections greased or tightened. I had to replace all the hose ends because they almost all stuck open. Last I'm going to have to replace another hose because they are leaking internally and causing large unsafe bulges in the hoses. These are excellent hose reels. We have three of them in a small industrial setting. Quality of hose and reel is excellent.

Product review: my feedback

Great product, I gave it 4 becuz the whip hose from reel to compressor at The fitting leak a little if hose pulls it up. No way to tighten it as it moves around as u pull hose. But once installed you shouldn’t have to moved it at all. So it works great. Milton always has had great products. Heavy duty hose perfect for what I need. (At home in garage) used daily but not as a job. It’s definitely rock solid when mounted. In fact I had only the top two bolts holding it just to try it out and I put

Hose was pinched from the factory

I installed this hose reel and the hose popped as soon as I turned on the compressed air, right near the black stop on the hose. I am hoping the manufacturer will send me a new hose so I won't have to remove the real. Milton did replace the bad hose. The second hose has a leak in the middle of it now. The hoses are poor quality.

Swivel valve designed bad.

Swivel valve poorly designed. leaked on 2nd day. It took 5 days to get it, which is not bad, but replacement takes a month? have to use it leaking costing me $$ until new one arrives. although the hose is 1/2" all the fittings are 3/8" defeating the purpose of 1/2". BTW they want the returned item a day after I am supposed to receive it. You can't buy a replacement valve only the O rings (2) and plastic spacers.

So far so good. on my review.

Its sturdy. The reel works. It makes moving an Air-Hose around my garage much easier. Only time will tell how long it lasts. Ill keep my review updated.
