This is great. They aren't as absorbent as disposable cotton pads, but they are soft and absorbent. I use it as a toner and makeup remover. Haven't used them for nail polish yet but plan to update when I do. They are a good buy and they come in a very nice tin.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these. I've read complaints about them not looking new after washing etc. I found them perfect. Make-up stains of course. If you want a nice white tampon every time, you should probably ditch reusable pads. They don't absorb too much liquid. For me they are not too soft and not too rough.
