Works like a champ.

Works great, replacing the old one only took 5 minutes. I think everyone can easily cope with this replacement. Could you get this for free by contacting Moen as Moen products come with a lifetime guarantee which I used on a kitchen faucet a few years ago. When I found this on Revain and got the Prime, I got it in a day, but with Moen I should have waited longer. I have not seen this product in any local store. I later found that with the original rusted end, I could just move the ball to the…

satisfies inelastic demand

I think $10+ is too much for a metal stick pierced by a plastic bullet, especially since the broken stick it replaces was only ten years old. Yes, the old one did not bend, but broke in two. The manhole ruptured when my wife was pulling the Wookiees out of the sewer. What kind of cheap chrome brittleness breaks rather than bends? Maybe it fired too slowly? Well, in any case, this replacement bar fits perfectly. I installed it in less than 5 minutes and now my sink plug works like new. My only…

Perfect for old Moen faucets

After my daughter moved out and we turned her old room into a guest room, I did a little renovation of her bathroom and found that the sink drain wasn't working. I removed the old mechanism and found that the end of the shaft that raises and lowers the drain plug is completely rusted. This was presumably the result of some facial chemicals and something else she poured down the drain or flushed, as the faucet of the same model in the other bathroom was still in near-pristine condition. Although

It worked fine with my faucet except

This worked fine with my faucet except: (1). I had to cut about 1/4 inch off the short end and (2) I had to use an old plastic nut. However, I used a plastic washer. I can't find the brand on the faucet, but I think I bought it from Home Depot. It is over 10 years old and may be a Home Depot brand e.g. B. Glacier Bay. The short end, as supplied, was 1 1/4 inches long. 5/8 inch bullet, just like my old one. Manufacturers of these items are required to provide full dimensions - I was lucky this…

Moen Swivel Sink Rod

First of all, the part is not made of brass. Looks like galvanized steel. The ball is made of plastic. The white washer/ring is too hard on the gray collar and mating threads on the sink drain. I removed it, everything works and is holding up well. Overall it works and fits my 1.25" drain line perfectly. I used the procedure for installing a drain pan under the drain line, removing the siphon, removing the swivel rod, and removing the vertical adjustment rod. Delete everything. Use a brush…
