Very good quality fan. It pushes a lot of air, but of course when the air is hot (90+ degrees) the cooling effect isn't great! We installed it in a 14 x 14 foot patio with three walls. We have a custom lighting kit.

Company stands by their product

We bought this fan in December 2017 in anticipation of our spring 2018 pool refill so it actually lasted about 3 years. To be honest we didn't use it that much but this year we had about 30 people here, out of the blue the blade just broke off. Didn't expect the company to get it right since it's been 3 years but if they did. They sent me brand new blades and attachments to replace not just one but all blades if there was any problem. It's hard to pay over £300 for a fan and it only lasts 3…

Couldn't be happier. with MC5CY60RB. This company has gone further!

Looks great, works great. Just set 3 for the client. A low setting corresponds to a low speed. It's hard to find. If you're expecting a knockout in store, you won't rate this fan. This is not their market and you are not their customer. Don't buy this. Head to HD or Lowes and spend $99 and the money saved can be used to fill up on useless fast food - many times over. Nothing is too good for you. However, if you want a beautiful, quiet, smooth-running piece of art, I would highly recommend this…

no help with heat best in ceiling fans

I bought this particular Monte Carlo fan a few days ago. I have a 16 foot vaulted ceiling and it's pretty hot in there. We had a 52 foot fan, but after the hurricane hit our area for some reason the lights worked but the fan didn't. Needless to say we had to rent scaffolding to install the fan (which cost another $70). The Component was disappointing, but no different than any other fan. However, this was more difficult due to the height of the ceiling. After 2 days of removing another fan and…

Expensive and replaced in 10 months

We paid $300 more than Lowe's/Home Depot fans and expected it to be good. If only it were installed. Fought from day one. As others have pointed out, this is mostly related to fan speed. I have it above the bed so I need a fan with a good "medium" speed. This fan has 3 speeds. The low level is not even felt 4 feet below the fan. Useless speed. However, the next acceleration (medium) hits so hard that I can't sleep under it. Of course, high is worse. So, essentially, this fan has no real…

This outdoor fan does NOTHING except atmosphere!

I bought this fan to put outside on our slipway at the pier. We had a 48-inch Hampton Bay outdoor fan from Home Depot, but needed more reach. The 48 inch fan had a great RPM and wind/breeze generator, but it wasn't wide enough to cover our lakeside deck. That's why we chose this 60" outdoor fan. We mounted it on a 4 foot pole like the Hampton Bay 48" and found that unlike all other stock fans, it had a 1/2" - Rod required in place of the standard 3/8" rod. Well, they don't make it, so we had to
