Shop-Vac Wet/Dry Vac SM16-SQ650 It's called the Shop-Vac Wet/Dry Vac but oddly it doesn't come with a foam sleeve, necessary for absorbing water . I had to buy one from Revain and luckily it fit perfectly. "Multi-Fit Wet Vacuum Filter VF2001 Foam Sleeve" for $5. The parts list for this model that I downloaded from the Shop-Vac website also didn't include the foam sleeve part.

This foam vacuum filter works great. It fits my 20+ year old, 1hp/1 gallon. Shop Vac (model 500x) is excellent. These filters are designed to collect liquids, but I use them with blue paper filters for extra filtration. This is great for picking up fine dust like sawdust and drywall without it all being blown back through the exhaust port. The filters are also easy to clean.
