I used a 3/8" drive on my Dewalt DCF887 #3 (1825 in lb) impact wrench to tighten the lug nuts on a Honda Civic to surprise to dismantle, the 1/4" hex cuts off. And this is the second time I've used it, my Harbor Freight 1/4" hex has held up much better and at half the price. Disappointed.

Used with a tiny 1/4" ratcheting handle to remove a brand new anode/drain plug from a new RV water heater tank. Almost no torque, cut off directly from the drive. Absolute junk. This was the first time I used one of these. There's no way they can handle a small cordless impact wrench.

The bits work and it's a great set but when I used 1/2 inch it broke. I know they shouldn't be used for high torque applications due to the size of the bit included in a hammer drill, but I just pushed the nuts against the machine and they broke. This was probably the 5th time I've used the bit. I just got tired of using it for anything where the impact would be a pound on it.

The product came very quickly but that's where the positives end. The first time you tried to loosen a stubborn screw and after about 10 seconds it sheared off in the impact wrench. Very disappointed. Spend a few bucks more and get something decent. It's frustrating when tools break in the middle of a job. Luckily I had backups. To be honest I have no idea how this product got over 4 stars? Trust me buy different 1

Great tools/adapters for the price. Does the job as intended. Used on the first day and I am completely satisfied. Most people abuse their tools by using big ratchets on smaller heads and the like, but the metallurgy on them is pretty decent quality and all edges are beveled well. This is the best deal on the tool you will get. Don't use them for anything they weren't designed for, and don't buy them knowing you'll use them to the limit! They hold back the corresponding torque!

At first glance these adapters seem great. If you don't intend to use them regularly, but only lightly when you do, then this set is for you. BUT. If you use them for more than just assembling Ikea furniture I would look elsewhere. When tightening the bolt with the Makita Impact Set to the lowest setting before the threads were fully tightened, my head suddenly fell to the floor. I literally took the Neiko 1/4" to 1/2" adapter in my Ryobi impact wrench and tried to loosen the nut on the nut on my wife's car. Less than a second after trying to pry the nose out, the adapter on the 1/4" drive side cut in half next to the chuck. I then used a standard length Craftsman ratchet with a 1/2" drive to remove the safety lug. A breaker was not required. I did not stand on the grip. It is not enough to justify a rejection.
