Overall I was extremely happy with my jig! This jig saved me a lot of time. I would definitely recommend it for a DIYer. Below I will explain my pictures.Fig. 1 I would recommend assembling it on a flat surface to avoid perpendicularity issues with the drill bushings. We purchased this product following a kitchen remodel. The product was well made, the materials were solid and the hardware seemed durable. Unfortunately after putting the jig together I noticed a hairline crack in the lower arm of the jig which caused the level to be off. Obviously I am not going to use an unlevel jig to install hardware on new cabinets and drawer fronts. It seemed as though it was dropped while being packaged for shipping and the packer probably didn’t even notice the damage.

This jig is good, not great. It was easy to set up and use. However, the drill bushing leave a lot to be desired. After drilling 40 holes they are already wearing out. They bushings should be made out of hardened steel, which they are not. I looked online, and it doesn’t look like there are replacement bushing’s available either. It’s a shame, I like this jig, just, too bad the bushings aren’t up to the task!

I found this jig to be very easy to use. It takes a few minutes to assemble. I found it easiest to set the width to the drawer handles I was using by inserting the bolts for the handles through the drill guide holes in the jig and then screwing into a handle. That sets the perfect width. Then just set and lock in the distance from the drawer top and it is all set to reliably drill holes with repeatable accuracy. It is all metal construction and should last a very long time.

This is an Absolute MUST for Installing Cabinet Door/Drawer Knobs or Pulls.This Jig is All Metal, (No Plastic), Easy to Assemble, & Easy to Use.The Metal Drill Guides are Super Helpful, keeping the drill hole in alignment.I only had (2) things that I would suggest for future enhancements, (1) the Cross Bar should be Longer, (to allow for wider drawer fronts), (2) a Brad Point Drill Bit should be supplied, instead of the Chisel Point Bit, (the Brad Point Bit would provide cleaner drill holes).

I had a couple of projects that I've been putting off until I had something like this tool and since I got it I'm glad I waited as it made drilling holes for handles easy and uniform. Really liked that this jig was made of aluminum, and looked forward to using it. However, while drilling the holes vibrations caused the parts on the jig to move, no matter how tight you had them locked down. This really caused issues when fitting handles into place on the cabinets, so I had to return it. It was definitely a good price, if it would only stay locked in place.

The jig was everything I needed to install hardware on my kitchen cabinets and drawers. once assembled the jib is easy to work with (assembly instructions not the best but it's not difficult to figure out). Check the measurement and set screws before each use. For cabinets, once the jig is set ,you can do both left and right doors w/o additional adjustment, just flip the job 180 degrees. Very efficient. Accurate and easy to set up. The only thing it lacks is the ability to place it up against insets like shaker style cabinets when the handle is in the inset. Otherwise very good and a lot cheaper than the only one I saw that did the offsets

Just got it this morning and practiced on a couple junk cabinets (which I recommend if you're a novice), and it was spot on. I was going to use the Kreg Cabinet Hardware Jig (which seems good), but it's not nearly as accurate and as this Neitra. A 7/32 drill bit is included with the jig but I found it a bit big.I used a 3/16 bit instead. This is a beefy piece of equipment and I highly recommend it for your cabinet project.

This set works great and is extremely rigid and provides a very reliable repeatable measurement for drilling hardware holes. As long as your drawer is less than 16" wide. I put this to use immediately on a new built-in. Having done an identical set of pulls recently, I can say that it reduced my time spent to about a quarter of what it took before.The jig is solid, easy to assemble and disassemble, and holds its settings in use. Flimsy piece of.metal. Set screws for vital parts would not stay secure, I would get everything set, and something wouldn't look right. Sure enough, at least one of the stops would be loose and out of position. So, while trying to get all of the little stops to stay in place, the end stop bent, so now it would not lay flat against the drawer. Time for a new plan.

I am looking at a kitchen remodel that will require all new hardware. This is exactly what I need. Haven't begun the project yet, simply acquiring the tools and materials needed. This kit comes in a nice zippered case with all the tools and hardware need/used in the jig. The case has foam cut-outs for placement of all the components. I bought this set because we bought 47 pulls for our cabinets. Learn from my mistakes. Always measure twice, place 3M masking tape on the spots you want to drill and mark it on the blue tape. This will give you a measured template for the drill guides to align. This is NOT have an extension for wider drawers. Handling this jig one handed is near impossible. It will shift on you ever so slightly and your drilled holes will be off. Please use a set of quick clamps or something that will not mark…

The Neitra Cabinet Hardware Jig is AWESOME. Even if you do your own kitchen and then resell it, it will save you so much time and will help you precisely put handles on. ZERO complaints.
