Beautiful shoes that don't last long enough

The shoes were great for my everyday life. However, after 11 months, one of them began to tear on the side between the sole and the rest of the shoe, causing it to squeak when walking. If these shoes were $30-40 cheaper I would probably recommend them but for the price I bought them for they should have lasted at least another 6-8 months. I'm not rough with shoes.

Pros
  • Helps with heel spurs
Cons
  • Bad quality crumbles before our eyes😡

Take a risk: my review

It wasn't the shoe I was looking for but the price was less than half of the original shoe. So I took a chance and the shoes are perfect. Actually the description said it was a used pair of shoes but to me they are brand new with no defects.

Pros
  • a good product
Cons
  • Shoes may not be durable enough for intensive use.

Wears out pretty quickly

I really like New Balance. I've been wearing this pair for hundreds of miles and years of walking (it feels like it). I can't believe I bought them a little over a year ago because it seems like I've had them forever and they wear out a lot. No. If they lasted 2 years (or longer I thought) I would have no hesitation in buying another pair but the heels are worn and starting to fall off. I think I'll wait a few more months before getting more and maybe try another brand.

Pros
  • The best hiking shoes I've ever had.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be breathable enough and cause sweating.

High quality but runs small

I used to buy 845s for 10.5 and loved them but of course NB stopped making them. Was a little worried the 1300s were all leather boots as it's hot here and need my feet to stay cool. After wearing them for a few weeks they seem to stay as cool as the mesh 845 version. The reason for the 4 stars is because the 10.5 I got was closer to a size 10 and I got them had to return for the 11th. Also, the tread pattern is not as aggressive as the 845 and is really slippery on some surfaces like fast food

Pros
  • Favorite first pair, second pair exactly the same. Very convenient for walking, working and working in the yard.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for people with wide forefoot.

Fits well and appears to be well made

My only disappointment is that the product is not made in the USA. If it was made in China I would send it back immediately.

Pros
  • After putting them on several times I am very satisfied, but the durability will show.
Cons
  • The color combination of chocolate and black may not be for everyone.

Not suitable for foot 14 EEEE.

Nice shoes but the toe box is not big enough and the shoes are not wide enough need 14EEEE and 15 is too long. Ordered size as recommended by Revain.

Pros
  • Great shoes, good support, well made, beautiful
Cons
  • Nice looking shoe but very stiff which makes it uncomfortable for me as I have arthritis in my toes so I sent the shoes back.

Anything you can ask for.

I bought these shoes for cycling and I am very pleased. Last time I rode 112 miles and started the day in cold weather then it was warm and stuffy. It rained now and then. My feet were dry and comfortable the whole time. Great shoes and I will definitely be back.

Pros
  • Always good with the best insoles
Cons
  • Hiking shoes may not be suitable for walking

These were gifts for my husband.

Although they haven't been worn yet. We are very happy with the quality and color. However, they were simply returned in a larger size. We want you to know how easy the return process is. You simply follow the instructions. Print a label. Turn it on to pocket and whistle. I gave it to the UPS guy who happened to be standing in front of the house. It's gone. Thank you revain and UPS. .

Pros
  • Looks great, very comfortable, love them
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for people with plantar fasciitis.

My favorite in my rating.

I can't find them anymore, they suck because I love them. I have bad hips so I can tie my shoelaces and put them on. They are non-slip and water-repellent and hold up very well

Pros
  • This is a good shoe, good brand, light
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for people with high arches.

durable, comfortable, waterproof

I walk my dog in the woods several days a week and often the paths and grass are wet and muddy and even covered with snow in winter. These are my shoes. I can't believe how comfortable they are and how dry my feet stay even though I bought 1/2 size larger than usual to wear extra socks with them to keep my feet warm and dry. How much do I like her? I bought my first pair about a year ago and they still feel great, but I've moved on and bought 3 more pairs for the future. Expensive? Possible…

Pros
  • Significantly better than my other boots or shoes when walking on trails with a lot of cobblestone.
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide adequate cushioning

Finally found again.

I bought a pair of these a few years ago. I really liked that they are really comfortable. Very disappointed. Wanted to buy a new pair. You are tall. The top option is always available, but that low top seems to be gone for years to come. Bought a second pair while I can.

Pros
  • Excellent pt just what i needed. Mostly 2-5 mile day hikes on moderate terrain but light enough to be carried around town.
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide adequate arch support.

My opinion is not broad

A "wide" fit seems to be all the rage these days (thanks to a Sketchers ad campaign 10 years ago), but most of these shoes aren't very wide. For people with a normal foot width, this has certainly become a more comfortable shoe. But for those of us with really wide feet, this only led to further disappointment, frustration and subsequent comeback. Most of the tested sizing manufacturers were sold (e.g. Crocs and Vasque). I can only assume that among them, New Balance has been one of the best so

Pros
  • The lightweight construction of the shoe reduces stress on the feet, allowing you to walk comfortably for long periods of time.
Cons
  • Shoes can be difficult to put on and take off

I've been looking for these shoes for a long time. It looks like the manufacturer has discontinued this model. I am very glad that I was able to find this pair for sale. These are very comfortable everyday shoes.

Pros
  • Very comfortable and light.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for long walks or hikes.

These are the worst New Balance shoes I've ever bought. I have a retiree with a Morton toe (the second toe is longer than her big toe) and bought shoes that were a half size larger and a size wider than my foot size. Seniors tend to want stiffer shoes with more stability. Even after a few lace adjustments, these shoes burned my feet and were uncomfortable to wear, especially on long walks (>2 miles). New Balance used to make exactly the kind of shoes I needed, but I think they're aimed at a…

Pros
  • The shoe's chocolate and black color combination is stylish and versatile, making it suitable for a variety of everyday activities and outdoor pursuits.
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide enough space for orthotics.

Great shoes. to my rating.

Like all New Balance sneakers, they fit as expected. They are comfortable and durable with a stable platform. Excellent all-round footwear for disabled people.

Pros
  • The shoe has a very wide fit and is therefore ideal for people with wider feet.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for those with ankle pain.

Doesn't stay waterproof

After 5 months, my socks got wet walking in the dew on the morning grass. If waterproofing is important, try a different shoe. This is my third and last pair of these shoes - not up to NB quality.

Pros
  • Daily use!
Cons
  • Shoes may not fit snugly around the ankle.

Squeaky is the best in my rating in my opinion

After the return period had expired, the right boot began to creak annoyingly on hard and soft surfaces. Very comfortable shoes, but you can't help but notice how many problems appear after 30 days.

Pros
  • quality shoes. Comfort, Size, Width, Running, Waterproof. I am happy.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for those with knee pain.

Sole fell off after 10 months

Great comfortable hiking while they last. Running 9 miles a week on pavement and grass and after 8 months the bottom of the sole started to separate from the top. After 10 months the sole almost falls off. Most expensive shoe I've ever bought and it didn't even hold up to $20 budget shoes.

Pros
  • These shoes have pretty good support, but the increased width feels more like a 2E than a 4E.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for people with overpronation.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well fitting shoes for wide feet, great built in arch support.

I've been wearing this special shoe almost exclusively for 10 years. Like so many other things, it's been hard to come by in recent years. 4E width, the arch support in these shoes is the best on the market. I hope NB keeps them going or something like that.

Pros
  • The shoe's construction provides breathability, keeping your feet cool and dry even on long walks.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for people with hammer toes.

Lifespan: one year seven months.

Bought April 2020. After 1 year and 7 months one of the boots is falling apart. I walk about 2.5 km 5 times a week. Not sure if this should happen. It seems too early. I've enjoyed them to this day.

Pros
  • I think I found my winter boots.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be easy to clean
