We ordered this ice maker especially for our annual big hike. We have just returned from a trip and the car worked very well. The room is very big but we had the perfect location for it. We've had this machine for about 3 months now and it's basically the only way to get ice as our Samsung fridge's ice maker is rubbish. We always set it for 'big' ice and despite what I've read it takes a little longer to get big ice cubes. About 20 minutes after launch, the first baths will be produced, but they will be small and thin. After about 30 minutes you will start noticing large and thick balls of ice cream. I think there is a common misconception about this and all other ice machines.
