At the rated speed (800 rpm), it is barely audible at arm's length, it will not be heard at all in the system unit. Nearby, the noise of air on the impeller is heard - a low-frequency rumble. Doesn't start at 5 volts. From 7 volts it starts only in a horizontal position.
