I officially prefer the Austrian version.

As someone who has been using Cooler Masters for years and has never spent more than $30 on a CPU fan, I decided to give Noctua a try this time. Their performance is well known and to be honest CM coolers for AM4 were really sold out. Figured out what the hell. I'm a little broken Having no information on the cooling efficiency, all I can say is that this thing keeps my CPU at around 60-65C quite effectively under high load. It's a 4GHz Ryzen 1700, so it's got plenty of cores and pretty good…

Definitely worth the price

I recently upgraded my system to an AMD 3900xt and needed a cooler. My Cooler Master 212 has served me well for the i5 system I've used over the past few years, but I figured I should go with this brand for the 3900xt build given the hotter CPU loads and rave online reviews try out. I decided between this and Noctua U14S. I was concerned about the space between my graphics card and the motherboard cooler (ASUS B550M-Plus WiFi), but it looks like I could easily use a bigger cooler. Either way…

"Almost perfect, but not quite "

Given the popularity of this cooler, it would probably be wiser to start with the cons. . . probably not as easy as expected, at least for me. It's simpler than many AM4 options, as AM4 coolers are typically Goldberg-style puzzle machines that defy common logic, but compared to most Intel platforms I've used, the process was quite complex and demanding. . You'll need to hold the backplate itself in place when installing the CPU-supporting cross braces, and installing the CPU itself requires a…

It's totally worth it.

I bought this for my Ryzen 7 3800XT processor for my very first PC build. As you read, keep in mind that this is the first time I've gone through the entire process, not just installing this fan. Right out of the box, this thing looks massive. It's quite big so make sure it fits in your pocket before you buy it. I did some research but thought about it anyway, but ended up fitting it together by just a few millimeters with no issues. This is probably the biggest problem you have to face before…

Noctua Winner: Internals

I bought this particular cooler for a new build with a Ryzen 2700X processor and an X370 motherboard. (Sorry for the bad photo quality). I already knew I wouldn't use the stock Wraith cooler that comes with the CPU, even though it's a decent cooler. I've bought 3 other Noctua coolers in the past (NH-D15S, NH-C14S) so I already knew that Noctua really works. While overclocking Ryzen before overclocking, I ran an AIDA64 stress test with all 8 cores at 4.1GHz on the 2700X and got around 70C with…

Worth every penny! - Computers and Accessories

Overview I have used both water and air cooling and this is without a doubt one of the best coolers I have ever used. The cooler is slightly larger than expected, but that's ok and it fits perfectly in my Elite NZXT case. The packaging was great and contained everything you need, especially the AM4 mount which most coolers don't include right out of the box but does require filling out a form and a few days for the mount to be shipped. This beast could drop 20C and my CPU rarely goes above 50C,

Super cool and won't get in the way of memory slots or GPU

I've been building computers for 20 years and other than an SSD this is one of the best purchases I've made. done before. did. The only downside is that the color isn't very pretty, but I have a way to fix that too. I've read about some complaints that installation is difficult, but that's not the case. Do it yourself, very easy. I am using an MSI Tomahawk B450 with a Ryzen 5 2600 and an open back case to access the motherboard during installation. I laid the suitcase open on the table. Slide…
